A new generation of embankments

Embankments have turned from traffic corridors into public spaces: Krymskaya, Presnenskaya, Luzhnetskaya and the ZILART embankments now have cycle lanes, benches, lighting and steps down to the water.

The best way to feel the scale of the river is to walk one long stretch in full — for example from the Krymsky Bridge to the Sparrow Hills.
