01Status of the project
This is a non-commercial personal project: the author’s own view of Moscow and a showcase of what the ivashkin.tech web studio can build. Ratings, selections and wording reflect the author’s personal opinion. The site is not a mass medium, a government website or a city service, and it does not act on behalf of the city, public authorities or transport operators. The site is an independent non-commercial project and the first part of the authorial project Cities of Russia. It was created to show the beauty of Moscow — its history, districts and transport — and as a portfolio example of the ivashkin.tech web studio. The site does not sell goods or services, show advertising or collect donations. The slogan “the best city in the world” is the author’s personal opinion.
02Unofficial nature
The website is not an official resource of the City of Moscow, of state or local authorities, transport companies or other organisations, and does not act on their behalf. It does not provide state or municipal services.
03Completeness and accuracy
We aim to publish verified information, but it may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date: boundaries, transport maps, opening hours and visiting rules change. The transport map is for orientation and does not replace a journey planner or a timetable.
04Official information
Check timetables, fares, opening hours, visiting rules and other official information with the relevant organisations and on their official websites.
05Third-party materials
Photographs, map and transport data belong to their right holders and are used under their licences: OpenStreetMap data under the ODbL (© OpenStreetMap contributors), Wikimedia Commons photographs under the free licences stated for each image, with attribution. Sources are listed on the About page.
Some images are illustrations created with a neural network; on the site they are always labelled as illustrations and are not presented as documentary photographs.
06Project materials
The texts, design and code of the website were created by the ivashkin.tech web studio unless stated otherwise. Quoting is welcome with a link to the source; third-party materials are used under their own licences.
07External links
The website contains links to external resources. Their content and rules are determined by their owners; you follow such links at your own discretion.
08Author of the project
The author and developer of the project is the ivashkin.tech web studio.
