Map data
Drag the map with a mouse or finger; zoom with the wheel, a pinch or the buttons. © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL ·
The map is built from OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), with line status checked on 6 November 2026: the monorail closed in 2025, the Troitskaya line runs from ZIL to Novomoskovskaya, and the first section of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line opened on 5 September 2026. Station positions are schematic: the centre is stretched and the outskirts compressed. This is not a journey planner or a timetable.
Metro, MCC and MCD: 2016 and 2026
Drag the slider to compare the 2016 network with today’s: new lines, the Big Circle and the MCD diameters on one diagram.
How we count: each line at an interchange counts as a separate station (as in metro statistics) — Kievskaya on three lines is three stations. Opening dates from Wikidata and OpenStreetMap, checked on 7 November 2026. Opening years from Wikidata and OpenStreetMap; for the MCD, the launch year of the diameter. The monorail, closed in 2025, is not shown on the 2016 diagram.
